All the leathers we use are processed with CHEMICALS which fully comply with European directives, where the laws on consumer and environment protection are very strict. Whereas in the other parts of the world these forbidden toxic chemicals are used freely every day. This all means MORE SAFETY to our CUSTOMERS; a point which is very important to us.

We like to emphasize that all the leathers we use, are DRUMDYED. This means that the leathers are very COLOURFAST (unlike many of the leathers from cheaper gloves).

We had our elk skins tested in REUTLINGEN INSTITUTE OF LEATHER in Germany in the early 2006. The result was excellent, because PCP, forbidden AZO-colours, KROM-6 and FORMALDEHYD- readings amongst others where all so low, that the meters could hardly detect them. In short, far below than the allowed limits. These four groups of chemicals are usually the most hazardous ones.
